We had the opportunity to attend the Hemophilia of Iowa Annual Education Conference in CR this past weekend. It was a very good meeting, even though it was overwhelming! We had a great time meeting some very neat people. The stories that were shared were sad, funny, and encouraging. To know that others out there are struggling like we are was very reassuring. We met some great industry people. They didn't care if we bought their product or used their services, all they cared was that we were getting information on the illness and educating ourselves.
Even though Asher has Hemophilia, I praise God that he is my son! I would not trade him for anything! Seeing him smile everyday is the best thing ever!

I am so glad that you attended this event. We have a great bunch of people that are here in Iowa. I would love to invite you to an online hemophilia group. It is www.mybloodbrothers.com. There are some great people on there also. I will continue to pray for you, Julie and Asher. You two are amazing parents and Asher is going to do great!!!
